The couple — who started dating earlier this year — sat down to a healthy Japanese lunch at Sugarfish in Brentwood, Calif., along with a male friend, according to People magazine. "Reese was very bubbly throughout lunch and she was also very flirty with Jim," a source said. The pair then escaped to an Ojai, Calif., ranch with kids Ava and Deacon. The foursome shared a pizza lunch, then the Legally Blonde star let the youngsters spend some alone time with Toth while she did some shopping at Treasures of Ojai. "Jim was great with Ava and Deacon," the onlooker says of the antique store visit. "Both kids seemed very happy and comfortable." Jim was recently seen at several high-end jewelry stores in Hollywood, where he was reportedly shopping for the perfect engagement ring. "Reese wasn't with him, because he wants it to be a surprise," a source close to Jim told In Touch Weekly magazine. "But he knows her style. The ring will be classic and beautiful, just like Reese herself. "Jim wants the proposal to be unexpected. It will happen in the next few weeks."
