KITCHENER – Police have charged three local men in connection with four recent daylight robberies of jewelry stores and a cheque-cashing business.

The three men, aged 18, 19 and 20, were arrested Thursday following a holdup at the Cashmax Payday Loans business on Weber Street.

Police were able to link the three to robberies at the Raffi Jewellers store in Conestoga Mall on Jan. 5, Ben Moss Jewellers at Fairview Park Mall on Dec. 15 and the same Cashmax store on Dec. 14.

The suspects are to appear in Kitchener court Friday.
