PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police are searching for a team of professional robbers believed to have hit at least nine businesses selling jewelry since July.

Police say the four robbers are well-coordinated, with each of them having an assigned role and each heist taking about minute.

The Arizona Republic says a reward for information leading to an arrest in the case has been increased to $10,000.

The retailers struck by the robbers include grocery stores, clothing stores and pawn shops - all of which had glass displays of gold jewelry.

Police say the string of robberies has occurred between 46th Avenue and 46th Street and between Indian School Road and Dunlap Avenue.
