BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS 3) ― Investigators in Pennsylvania and Delaware are searching for a serial jewelry theft who has robbed several stores.

John Wiseman, 27, of Morris Road in New Castle, Delaware, has robbed several stores in Delaware, as well as three in Pennsylvania.

Wiseman hit jewelry stores in Middletown Township, Bensalem Township and Northeast Philadelphia.

In all three robberies in Pennsylvania, as well as several in Delaware, Wiseman asks to look at rings and runs out of the store.

The value of the three thefts in Northeast Philadelphia, Bensalem and Middletown are approximately $27,000.

In one of the Delaware heists, Wiseman entered Harris Jewelers in the Concord Mall and asked a salesperson to see a gold ring valued at $5,000. The salesperson obliged the suspect, who then grabbed the ring and ran out of the store.

Wiseman is a white male with a thin build, short dark hair with a goatee. He is believed to be in the company of a white female.
